Christ, in the great commission said to his disciples, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you.  This was not the first commission Christ gave his disciples, so why was this one called great? The difference was that they were to make disciples of “all nations”. The Greek word for nations is ethnos, from which we get the English word ethnic, so all ethnic groups were to be made disciplined followers of Christ.  You are helping us full fill this great commission being a part of this community.
